Clarissa is an associate is our Malta firm. She specialises in  commercial shipping problems and has regularly advised on disputes  arising under bills of lading and charterparties. Clarissa deals with  ship registration and ship finance issues and also has experience in  both corporate and trust law.
Upon completion of her Masters Degree in Maritime law, Clarissa worked  with the P&I Club, Steamship Insurance Management Services Limited,  in London from 2007 – 2009. Most of her work consisted of cargo and  FD&D claims, as well as collisions, piracy, FFO claims and DTH  cover.
 
She has substantial experience in  working with Greek, Indian and Pakistani clients, including shipowners,  charterers, traders, surveyors, local correspondents (legal and  otherwise) as well as banks.
 
Clarissa is a member of the Chamber of Advocates, Malta.
